Cute.
The book was sweet and everybody was loving and ambitious. I think this is part of a series because I felt a little lost with the characters. And it just stopped at the end.
Continuation of the story of Elsie, with the focus on Lulu, now eleven years old, as she strives to conquer her furious temper. She shows love and bravery when the unexpected happens after New Year's day.
I enjoyed following Elsie and her family on their adventures with Grandma Elsie. I am eager to read the next in the series.
Here is a wealthy family trying to figure out what to do for others for christmas. It is a good storyline but very hard to relate to in this struggling economy. The rest of their days are filled with parties and sleigh rides another element hard to relate to.
First, I love the fact that I was able to download this using my app for FREE! I've read several reviews for this book that said it was 'too preachy' or 'too much religious dogma'. This book contains many scriptures, but everything written comes straight from the Bible. I thoroughly enjoyed this lovely Christmas story! Although it is fiction, it goes to show that families can be close and adults and children alike can chose to act/think/speak the right things, according to what the Lord would be pleased with. Again, I found this to be a lovely Christmas story that touches the heart!
